Overview
Roomerang is an offline portrait iPhone game. It works without an account, backend, advertising, analytics, tracking, or network access.
Information stored on your device
The app stores your progress through the thirty trials, which trials you solved without hints, and your preferences for sound, vibration, and assistive controls. All of it lives in Roomerang's local app container on your device.
Roomerang's developer does not receive or have access to this information. Your device and backup settings are managed by you through Apple's system settings.
Information we do not collect
- No name, email address, account, or contact information
- No precise or approximate location
- No device or advertising identifiers
- No gameplay analytics or diagnostics sent to the developer
- No payment or financial information
- No contacts, photos, browsing history, or other device data
Device states the puzzles read
Several trials are solved by doing something with the iPhone rather than the screen, so while the app is open it observes a small number of system states: light or dark appearance, screen orientation and whether the phone is face down, whether it is charging, whether Low Power Mode is on, the volume level and volume button presses, whether a screenshot was taken, and whether the app is in the foreground.
These are read only, used only to decide whether a puzzle has been solved, and are never recorded, never combined, and never transmitted. Roomerang cannot and does not change any of them, and it asks for no permissions.
Third parties
Roomerang contains no third-party software development kits and sends no app data to third parties.
Retention and deletion
Progress and settings remain on your device until you remove the app, or until you use Erase all progress in the app's own Settings. Because we do not receive your data, there is no server-side account or copy for us to delete.
Children's privacy
Roomerang does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If Roomerang's data practices change, this page will be updated before the relevant app version is released. The date at the top shows when the policy was last revised.
